Fewer than 75 Southern Resident orcas remain. Voluntary rules aren't enough. The Canadian government must enforce real, permanent protections now before we lose them forever. #SaveTheOrcas #SalishSea #SRKW https://t.co/s9HdM4z2Xt

@jeepgirlsparks @2778kelly That makes sense. I’m almost at healthy weight, but not fit, and my arthritis and migraines would flare badly. But even encounter in boat in Salish Sea/Puget Sound would be awesome for me. Sometimes we get Dals Porpoises, and even pacific dolphins.

@FreddyLA7 Go allll the way west, then very north. You will experience the great Pacific North West (PNW). Visit a town called Edmonds, then LaConner, then Anacortes, and finally the American side of the San Juan islands. Take a ferry to Friday Harbor, say hi to some orcas. Safe travels. 🇺🇸

Voluntary Trip Reports are just one tool in a suite of options managers use to collect data for Puget Sound and ocean salmon fisheries. Other monitoring tools include dockside catch sampling (also known as “creel checkers”) and boat surveys.

Back in the summer of 86 I was in a small boat out in the middle of the Puget Sound. It was just me and a very pretty girl with long curly golden hair and large... tracts of land. We had been kissing for awhile and the whole time I had the feeling of being watched. But looking

@CatherineInSea @GOP_is_Gutless Beautiful place to live. I was stationed at Ft Lewis in the late 88 to 92. The Cascades, Olympics, Rain forest, Yakima, Puget Sound, Ocean Shores. Absolutely stunning! Broke my heart to see it turn the way it did. Drugs. Every time they take out a drug boat, it makes my day.

Doe Island is one of many islands you can visit among the San Juan Islands. It's only accessible by boat but has primitive camping and plenty of fishing. https://t.co/we1yXUorjH

@zapovednix Tough choice, I know the feeling. I personally took the public transit ferry to Alaska for my 30th. Set up camp on the deck of the boat for 3 nights, it was incredible. San Juan islands or mount baker would be a 10/10 choice as well.
